How the dates work
Summer internships at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center, Army commands on Redstone and the companies in Cummings Research Park usually start in late May or early June and run 10 to 12 weeks. Co-op rotations usually follow a semester, about four months.
The minimum stay here is 30 days, so either one fits. Move-ins are on the 1st or 15th; tell us your start and end dates and we'll confirm the price for that length of stay.
What to pack
In a furnished room, the bed is made up with sheets and pillows, and there's a desk, lamps, blackout curtains and towels. The kitchen is stocked with dishes, pots, pans and utensils, and there's a washer and dryer in the house. Bring:
- Clothes, including business casual for the office
- Toiletries
- Your laptop (the Wi-Fi is 800 Mbps)
- A car, or a plan for one: Huntsville is spread out and transit is limited

Living with working engineers
The housemates are mostly engineers and tradesmen who already work in Huntsville. For an intern, that means a quiet place to sleep before an early start, and people who know the city. Mamre House is an all-male household.
